Our second day on Cananéia and Cardoso Island.

After our trip to Iguape, we went to Cananéia . We arrived in “Golfinho Plaza Hotel” at 6 o’clock, and then we took shower, had a free time and had dinner. Later, we had some minutes with the teachers and guides; they helped us to finish our work. So we had some free time and then we went to sleep. On the next day, we had breakfast after waking up at 7am. Everybody took a bus to a square on the side of Cananéia church. There, we listened to a long history about this island, from a local woman. And then, we took a boat to Cardoso Island and we stopped on the beach. There, we walked up to a caiçara’s house, we left our bags and we went to the “restinga”, we learnd about many natural resourses of the island. Then we went to the rainforest. We had lunch at 12am. and went to "Costão Rochoso". Finally, we went to the mangrove, where we had a lot of fun. It was a perfect day, but it was sad when we left the island. We arrived at the hotel and we did all over again! Free time, shower, more free time, dinner and sleep.

Our first day on Iguape city.

On the first day we arrived in Iguape city, we climbed on Espia Hill… From where you can see a gorgeous view of “Valo do Ribeira”. You can also see Cardoso Island, Cananéia Island and a beautiful view of the city. It was exhausting, but after that, we went to “Bom Jesus de Iguape” church and we listened to the famous local history. We also visited the statue of “Nossa Senhora das Dores”, the Miracles Room and we took some photos of the old monuments, the most important for local population. After that, we went to the central square, where we saw some houses and studied the history of the city. That place was, and is still very important to people. We also visited the museum of Iguape. It was very interesting. It is worthwhile going!
